This project is inspired by Abstract Expressionism. Powerful, vivid brushstrokes of abstraction expressionism are of the same spirit as a young person who is full of energy and emotions, and same as young adults - brushstrokes on the painting are unique and have their own color. The PowerUp YOUTH center’s goal is to unite young adults who are living in the Chelsea community and help them to find a right path and exchange their experiences with each other.
Orange was chosen as the brand color because it represents enthusiasm, happiness, and creativity. It best represents bright and vivid spirit of young adults and brings warmth and enthusiastic atmosphere to the center.
The harmony between white brick walls and polished concrete creates the atmosphere of contemplation while bright orange brings positive touch and encourages young adults in their studies and creativities.
